Deceived by 'Next-Day Delivery': My Customer Service Nightmare 🤖


I'm writing this as a cautionary tale about my terrible online shopping experience. I needed glasses without a prescription and was promised "next day delivery." I paid an extra $19.95 for it, only to receive an email hours later saying it would take three business days just to process. My conclusion? This place is nothing more than an automated business that cares nothing about its customers. They are a fraud, ripping customers off for services that they charge for and do NOT provide. After getting stuck in endless automated phone menus and useless chat bots, I was determined to reach an actual human to demand a refund for a service I never received.

Customer: I finally reached a human. I paid $19.95 for next-day delivery. My order was placed on the 18th and just arrived today, the 24th. That is not next-day. I want my shipping fee refunded.

CS Rep: I am so sorry for the extreme delay and the frustration you've experienced trying to reach us. Let me look that up for you. I see the charge and the delivery timeline. You are absolutely right, and I sincerely apologize for the failure to meet our promised delivery time.

Customer: It’s not just the delay. Your website is deceptive, and your customer service is designed to make people give up. I sent six emails and got no reply. Is this how you do business?

CS Rep: I understand your anger completely, and there’s no excuse for the lack of communication. That is not the standard we aim for. I am processing a full refund of the $19.95 shipping fee for you right now.

Customer: Fine. But this is the last time I ever order from you. The whole process was horrible.
