My recent online shopping experience with glassesusa was truly terrible, and I feel compelled to share it as a cautionary tale. What I encountered was frustratingly dishonest; they simply didn't honor promos, and their site was full of glitches making it impossible to collect the offer. There was no actual customer service, no agent available, making the whole process incredibly unprofessional. I knew I had to leave a review and try to resolve this with customer service to prevent others from dealing with the same issues.
Customer: I'm calling about order #[Order Number]. I placed it specifically because of a BOGO promotion, but it wasn't applied correctly at checkout. CS Rep: I understand you're experiencing an issue with a promotion not being applied to your recent order. Can you please elaborate on what happened? Customer: Yes, I tried to apply the buy-one-get-one offer, but your website just glitched out. Now I'm being told I have to return my glasses – which are perfectly fine, by the way – just to reorder them to get the discount you messed up. Why can't you just credit the difference back to my card? That seems like a much simpler solution. CS Rep: I apologize for the inconvenience and the frustration this has caused. I understand your desire for a direct credit. Our current system for rectifying promotional errors does require a return and reorder to ensure the correct pricing is applied through our automated processes. Customer: So you're telling me I have to go through the hassle of shipping glasses back and waiting for a new order, all because your site had glitches and your promos aren't honored easily? This is just unacceptable and makes the process impossible.
The reason I left this review on the website is to hopefully prevent others from falling into the same trap.
