🚨 A Two-Month Nightmare: My Warning Before You Buy Glasses Online
I'm writing this as a warning. My experience was a disaster that left me unable to see properly for nearly two months. I thought ordering online would be convenient and affordable, but I was so wrong. You will pay as much for your glasses as you would at a physical optometrist’s office - but you’ll get glasses that do not fit after waiting 2 weeks to receive them, and then will have to send them back so they can try to adjust them, and then wait to receive them back, and when they still don’t fit, send them back for a different pair and just hope and pray they fit because you haven’t been able to see for almost 2 months straight. Then, when you order prescription Ray Ban sunglasses, you’ll wait around 3 weeks before they’re sent, and then they won’t actually ever be delivered to you…. You’ll try to find out where your almost $400 glasses are, and you won’t be able to talk to a human being. After hitting a wall with automated systems, I insisted on speaking with customer service.
Customer: I need to know where my $400 sunglasses are. Your tracking is useless and I can't get a straight answer from anyone. It says they were shipped weeks ago but never delivered!
CS Rep: I am so sorry to hear about the trouble with your order and the extreme frustration this has caused. Can I please have your order number to look into this for you immediately?
Customer: It's 12345. And it's not just the sunglasses. My first pair didn't fit, and after two months of returns and waiting, I still can't see properly. This entire process has been a complete nightmare.
