My Online Glasses Nightmare: Scammed, Ignored, and Hung Up On! 😤


My recent online shopping experience has been nothing short of a nightmare, and I feel compelled to share my story as a warning. Shop elsewhere. This is a terrible company to purchase from if you have any issues with your glasses. They will gladly take your money, but when it’s time for them to fix a problem, it seems impossible. I reached out to customer service hoping for a resolution, but it only amplified my frustration, making me feel like I was being scammed, with no way to get help.

Customer: My order arrived with a defect, and I've been trying to get it resolved. I can't believe how difficult this is. CS Rep: I understand you're experiencing an issue with your recent order, and I apologize for the inconvenience this has caused. Could you please provide your order number so I can look into this for you? Customer: It's GUSA12345. I just want this fixed. Every time I call, it feels like I'm talking to a bot, and when I finally get a person, they're rude and cut me off. I feel scammed. CS Rep: I assure you we are here to help. I see your order for prescription glasses. Can you describe the defect you're seeing? We want to ensure your satisfaction. Customer: There’s a scratch on the lens, right in my line of sight. And your automated system is terrible, and when I spoke to someone, they just hung up on me! I just want a clear path to get this rectified. CS Rep: I sincerely apologize for the frustration with our automated system and for any rudeness you encountered. That is certainly not the experience we want for our customers. Let me create a return label for you, and we will process a replacement for the defective lens immediately. We will also follow up on your feedback regarding the phone interaction.

The reason I left this review on the website is to hopefully prevent others from falling into the same trap.
