Lost in Transit & Robbed of $246: My GlassesUSA Horror Story ðŸ˜
I am writing this as a warning to save others the frustration I've endured. My terrible online shopping experience has left me without glasses and out of my hard-earned money. My feeling on the whole situation is this: GlassesUSA has still not sent my refund for an order I never received. $246.00 they have of my hard-earned money from a glasses order placed on 2/24. The tracking number still shows it stuck in Atlanta, Georgia. I can't get a response for a refund all they keep telling me is it is in transit from a BOT. I want my money back, GlassesUSA. After being ignored by their automated systems, I felt I had no choice but to try and speak to a real person.
Customer: My order is #105081183. It's been over a month, the package is lost, and I want my $246 refunded immediately. CS Rep: I'm very sorry for the delay with your order. Let me pull up the tracking information. I see here that the package is still listed as in transit. Customer: "In transit" is what your bots keep telling me. It hasn't moved from Atlanta since February! This is ridiculous. I'm not waiting anymore. I need a refund. CS Rep: I understand your frustration, ma'am. Our policy is to wait until the carrier officially declares the package lost. I can initiate a formal trace with them, but it may take some time. Customer: No! I want my money back now. I used Zinni before and never had this problem. This is terrible customer service. I am going to report this to the Better Business Bureau. CS Rep: I see. Given the extreme delay, I will make an exception and process the refund request for you now. You should see the funds back in your account within 7-10 business days.
