Two Tries, Two Failures: A Complete Waste of Time and Money 😤


I’m sharing this to warn others about my awful experience. I thought I was getting a good deal, but it turned into a complete waste of time and money. As I stated in my online review, “I’m afraid I don’t have many positive things to say about EyeBuy Direct. I ordered prescription glasses, progressive lenses with the blue light filter. The glasses received did not have the blue light filter. I contacted EyeBuy Direct and was sent replacement glasses. Not only did the replacements not have the blue light filter, clear vision through the glasses was only possible in the straight forward view. View to either side is distorted and blurry.” After receiving the second faulty pair, I knew I had to contact customer service one more time to see if anything could be done.

Customer: I'm calling about my order again. The replacement pair you sent has the exact same problems as the first. There's no blue light filter, and the peripheral vision is completely distorted and blurry.

CS Rep: I am so sorry to hear that the replacement pair was also incorrect. I can certainly understand your frustration. Let me pull up your order information right away to see how we can resolve this for you.

Customer: I don't see how. I now have two pairs of glasses that I can’t use. The quality just isn’t there. Frankly, this whole experience has been a failure.

CS Rep: You are right to be upset, and I sincerely apologize for our repeated mistakes. This is unacceptable. We can process a full and immediate refund for your order. We won’t even require you to send the glasses back.

Customer: A refund is the least you can do. I've wasted weeks waiting for glasses I can't even wear.

CS Rep: I completely understand. The refund has been issued and should appear in your account within 3-5 business days. Again, I am truly sorry for the poor experience and the inconvenience we have caused.

The reason I left this review on the website is to hopefully prevent others from falling into the same trap.
